Pedal Ready is funded by Greater Wellington Regional Council (GWRC) and Waka Kotahi New Zealand Transport Agency. Pedal Ready is New Zealand's first Bike Ready accredited cycle skills provider.
Our NZQA certified instructors deliver cycle skills compliant with Waka Kotahi New Zealand Transport Agency’s Cycle Skills Guidelines.
The Pedal Ready/Scooter Ready programmes are run by the Travel Choice team at Greater Wellington and a network of qualified instructors from across the region. The programme is managed and coordinated by Matt Shipman (Kaitohutohu Matua | Education and Training Programme Lead), Tessa Coppard (Kairuruku | Pedal Ready coordinator) and Rhonda Gardner (Kairuruku | bookings coordinator).
