Family and friends bubble training

Pedal Ready, Greater Wellington’s cycle skills programme, is offering FREE training for you and your bubble.  Any bubble of 4 or more riders can register for a session at a time and place that suits. Families are welcome. Children participating in on-road training must be aged 10+.

Our team of experienced instructors work with cyclists of all ages to help build confidence and skills for riding on the road including:

· Getting confident before going on the road

· Looking behind and signalling

· Using gears

· Stopping quickly with control

· Riding on quiet streets

· Road positioning

· Hazard awareness

· Finding safe routes

· Coping with traffic on busier roads

· Sharing the road with heavy vehicles
